The European Parliament recently approved a regulation to allow more goods to be exported duty free to the EU on a temporary basis.  The measure is designed to help Pakistan with economic recovery after the floods.  Duties can be re-introduced after a certain threshold has been reached in order to protect jobs in sectors which are sensitive to cheap imports.
