German exports continued to recover in September, but at a slower pace than in previous months, rising by 2.3% from August.
Economists had forecast a 2.4% increase in exports in adjusted terms.

In September, imports fell 0.1% on month

Compared with February – which was the month before the coronavirus lockdown – exports were down by 7.7%, and imports fell 5.7%.
