Coir and products exports from India to western countries including the US are flourishing, thanks to the new normal of ‘Work from Home’ triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Coir exporters said that many customers, having been forced to spend more time at home, are undertaking home improvement projects and are building makeshift home offices under the concept of “Do it Yourself”.
The product can be used for roofing, for walls and partitions, and for flooring.
