Export of grapes from India has started early this year; approximately 300 containers left India early in December. The unit president of the Grape Growers Association said that exports are destined for Russia, Malaysia and the Middle-East.
The export season for grapes usually begins early in January, with the containers being destined for Europe.
Produce which is usually sent to domestic markets have this year passed the stringent residue limits for exports.
