The logistics industry in Vietnam is dominated by large overseas companies, but exports from Vietnam are set to increase and local companies need to be in a position to exploit this.  Logistics can include freight, transport, customs clearance, storage, packing and inventory control.  There are approximately 800 Vietnamese businesses in the logistics sector, according to the Vietnam Freight Forwarders Association and the country is well suited to be a logistics hub.  But Vietnamese businesses should act quickly if they want to be a part of the development.
