The Meat Export Federation in the USA reports a 14% increase in pork exports for February from a year ago. The value increased by 15% during that time.
The Federation President attributes the growth to Mexico and strong global market performance.
“Korea in particular is exciting because it’s starting to show the inevitable rebound of food service in Korea,” hesays, also reporting that beef exports were good in February. “We’re starting to see international tourism pick up in Asia but it’s especially apparent in the numbers for Korea.”
