South Africa’s citrus fruit exports have been steadily entering the US market since June. The harvest of all varieties has nowfinished for the season. The last exports of easy peelers, Navel oranges, as well as Midknight oranges are en route to the Port of Philadelphia.
Total orange volume exports this season is slightly lower than last year’s volume. The easy peeler category is expecting a total export volume growth of 34 percent.
