Thailand’s fruit exports January to August this year generated 169 billion THB (about 5 billion USD).
This is an export increase of 46 percent year-on-year. The ministry intends to launch measures to improve the supply of fruits for exports next year, said Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Jurin Laksanawisit.
They intend to boost distribution, local consumption, online and in-person sales, improving the potential of farmers and exporters, and controlling prices fruits, Jurin said.
