Imports of coffee and espresso to S Korea increased to record levels in 2020, as the Covid-19 crisis drove higher demand the in coffee-loving country due to WFH and social distancing.
Last year, Korea imported 176,648 tons of coffee,according to the Korea Customs Services data.
Imports of coffee making machines also jumped. Espresso machine imports amounted to $120.5 million, an increase of 35 percent on year.
