Citrus exports from South Africa to the USA are expected to increase in 2020, based on increased plantings, according to a USDA Foreign Agricultural Service report.

But South African farmers are growing a higher proportion of easy peel varieties.

Soft citrus, mainly tangerines and mandarins, exports to the U.S. have increased by 15 percent per year over the past four seasons and are expected to rise more this season.
