Exports from India in 2018-19 reached the highest in value for any financial year as India took advantage of the trade war between the US and China.

Exports grew more than 9 per cent over the last financial year.
Imports rose 8.99 per cent. Data showed the final impetus to exports came in March, when export shipments grew by 11 per cent due to higher growth in sectors, including pharma, chemicals and engineering.
