The Turkey West Mediterranean Exporters Association (BAIB) say that west Mediterranean Turkish growers have exported 21,900 tons of apples to 31 different counties in the first 9 months of 2018. This represents a dramatic increase of 564% from last year to this year.
82% of apple exports from this region were sold to Russia, then India followed by Iraq,Saudi Arabia, Israel and United Arab Emirates.
For the entire country, apple exports have increased by 31.5%.
