British exports over £1.9 billion have been affected by President Trump’s trade attacks on the European Union and China, some analysis shows.

Economists fear that UK export goods worth up £3.4 billion may be affected by the trade war between the United States and China.

The conflict between the world’s two largest economies will have a “far greater impact” on Britain than Mr Trump’s steep foreign steel tariffs, according to a UK research centre.
