ONS figures published in July show that UK exports continued to grow against news of ‘uncertainty’ caused by Brexit.
Overall exports of goods rose by 13%, while services rose by 7%. The USA remained the top export market for the UK, importing over £112 billion worth of goods and services, which was an increase of 8% over 2016. Other top export markets are Germany, France, Netherlands and Ireland.
The outlook for exports continues good, as a separate report showed that UK exports rose by 5% in the year to end May 2108.
