The exports of Lebanese food and beverage products made up18 percent of the country’s total exports in 2017. This made the F&B industry the second-largest exporter in Lebanon behind the jewelry sector.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. “The Lebanese F&B industry produces a variety of national foods and beverages, which include alcoholic beverages, confectionery, bakery products, olive oil, pickles, preserves, spices, condiments and processed and canned fruits and vegetables,” the body said.
