In November, crude oil imports from Saudi Arabia jumped nearly 30 percent from the year before. Saudi Arabia has now overtaken Russia to become the largest crude oil exporter to the world’s second largest economy.
Imports from Saudi Arabia rose 29.19 percent from a year earlier. Imports from Russia climbed 17.92 percent.
Crude oil imports from Iran in November grew 24.48 percent while imports from Iraq rose 15.68 percent.
China imported 850,425 bpd of crude oil from Angola in November.
South American suppliers Brazil and Venezuela have increased exports to China by 79.16 and 39.17 percent respectively over the first 11 months of this year. China’s total crude oil imports in November were up 18.3 percent on the year, rebounding strongly from October.
Imports for the first 11 months rose 14 percent.
