The Comite Champagne is predicting that more champagne will be exported that sold in France in 2015.

The new managing director of the Comite said that export sales will continue to go, and will overtake French sales by the end of 2015. He advised that long distance exports are particularly important; the US, Japan and Australia are the fastest growing markets. In 2013, exports reached around 137 million bottles.

The Comite Champagne intends to both promote exports and fight climate change by environmental methods.
