The Scottish Textile Industry has raised its growth targets, as it has already exceeded the targets set for seven years hence. The sector has huge demands in markets across the world, and now intends to increase exports by 50% by 2017. Companies have participated in leading textile events for exporters such as Chic in China and Decorex in London.
