Container trade through the port of Gothenburg has so far improved by two per cent during the first six months of the year.  Exports increased by four per cent, and imports fell by one per cent.  About 30 per cent of Swedish foreign trade passes through the port, and over 60 per cent of all container movements.  In the second quarter volumes seem to be higher in the majority of freight categories.
