The Government of Finland has received parliamentary approval to allow freight trucks of up to 76 tonnes gross weight and 4.4 metres high on the roads.  The Finnish transport sector is struggling to cope with increased fuel costs, and the government approved this measure to try and help the industry improve profitability.
