In July, the value of exports of Norwegian Salmon totalled NOK 2.3 billion, an increase of NOK 58 million or 2.6% over July last year. This year to date, the value of Norwegian Salmon exports declined by 5% compared to the same period last year. This decline is attributable to lower export prices.
The average price for fresh whole Norwegian Salmon in July was NOK 27.05 compared to NOK 31.14 in July last year. As in the previous month, France and Russia were the biggest importers of Norwegian Salmon.
