The Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport thinks that lessons learned by the logistics and freight industry during the London OLympics should be reviewed and assessed for their effectiveness as long-term measures. Night deliveries, increased business collaboration, consolidated deliveries and variations to planning and regulatory provisions helped the logistics and transport sector to play a major role in the success of the Olympics.
