The Transport Ministry of Sweden is proposing an ambitious plan to modernise railway lines. Two thirds of them withal be allocated as primary rail freight corridors serving ports and airports. The investment of Skr 55 billion is the largest amount ever to be spent on national rail freight infrastructure.
