One of the main elements of Sweden’s planned investment in rail freight will be on the Eastern Link rail network between Jaerna and Linkoeping. This line is used as the south western freight hub for rail cargo to Copenhagen and mainland Europe. There will be a new brand to Skavsta Airport, near Nykoeping. Work should commence next year.
There will also be a revamp of the Gothenburg-Boras and Molnlycke to Bollebygd route in 2020.
