Demand for exports of fish from Norway remains high, even in countries which have been badly affected by the economic crisis. In the first half of 2012, Norwegian salmon export prices were lower than in the previous year, bt volumes were up in July. France and Russia are at the moment the biggest importers of Norwegian salmon.
