An international event focusing on transportation between Belarus, Latvia, and Scandinavia has been organized by Latvian Railways in Sweden.

Belarusian companies use rail freight to export mineral fertilizers, oil products, timber, construction materials, ferrous metals, and other goods to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Other products are exported to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland via Baltic ports.

The had of Belarusian Railways’ gave a presentation explaining the potential of rail freight and mentioned several important logistics projects. Rail freight trains travel exactly on schedule, boast high travel speeds, competitive rates, and fast border-crossing procedures.
