An industry analyst has predicted that recovery will strengthen this year, and that there should be a rebound in exports from Asia to Europe and North America between 2010 and 2017. Growth in container shipping was stalled in 2008/9 due to the worldwide recession, but it is expected that there should be strong growth in the industry during the next five or six years.
