A new report from the Central Statistical Office show that the country’s five biggest exporters accounted for 26% of all exports in 2017. The biggest export sector was pharmaceuticals.
The CSO said that the five highest value exporters accounted for over €31 billion in value of all exports in 2017. The top 50 exporters contributed 72% of the total goods exports.
Manufacturing exports were valued at €29.4 billion. Exports from the agri-food sector represented 15% of total exports.
