The annual Rail Freight Group awards recognised Felixstowe as ‘Business of the Year’ in its recent Awards ceremony. The port has worked with freight train operators and Network Rail to persuade shipping line, forwarders, importers and agents of the benefits of rail distribution. There are now 28 scheduled freight train arrivals and departures from the port dail, as a result of extensive investment.
