Exporters should be aware that new regulations covering the transport of freight by road (the ADR regulations) came into operation at the beginning of this month. The shipper is responsible for making sure that they use the correct packaging and documentation for the type of hazard being shipped and should ask for advice from their freight forwarder if in doubt.
