The logistics sector in India is expanding in spite of the fact that the infrastructure is still in a relatively poor state. Companies which are involved in related activities such as shipping and port ownership, are expanding into logistics to take advantage of the developing Indian economy. Funding for these developments is coming from both India and overseas.
