China has approved the import of processed meats from a leading processor in Denmark. China is the world’s top pork consumer, and the export of these products will be valuable to Denmark.
The agreement, comes after more than nine years of talks between China and Denmark.Two factories will be allowed to export six products to China: pepperoni, salami, frankfurter sausages, hotdogs, canned luncheon meat and canned sausages.
