A visit has been arranged for 40 major logistics experts from India to visit the Liguria district of Italy; it is hoped that the business to business discussions will establish a network of business contacts with Indian logistics operators and associations so that Italian companies can gain a better understanding of the opportunities offered by the Indian port and logistics system. Last December, the Government of Italy organised an institutional and business mission to India, at which the Liguria region presented a seminar about the logistics industry.
Representatives of top freight forwarders in India will take part in the meetings.
