The national air carrier of Korea has recorded highest ever first quarter profits due to growth of cargo revenue; the main areas of growth were Japan and China. The growth was also supported by increasing IT exports from Korea to the rest of the world. The air line expects freight business to prosper in 2010 due to increasing Korean exports, economic growth within Asia and trade agreements between Korea and India and the EU.
