Pilots working for Lufthansa are planning a four-day strike beginning on Monday next week. According to Lufthansa Cargo, air freight schedules will not be much affected as the company managed to buy in freighter capacity from outside the company once they realised that a strike might be in the offing. Approximately 90% of the freight services will be maintained, although cargo carried in the hold of passenger flights will be affected.
