The Logistics Institute of Hull University has been helping local unemployed driver by providing a Hazardous Goods training course. The Higher Education Funding Institute awarded funding to the University earlier this year; the downturn in demand for transport has affected the North East particularly, and the University was keen to help drivers be at the top of the list for job selection.
