Two freight training organisations have decided to co-operate in order to improve their services to the freight and logistics industry.  A strategic plan for future joint working has been set up for the Department for Transport’s Freight Best Practice programm and the Skills for Logistics council.  The agreement encourages the sharing of resources, so that Freight Best Practice Publications will be used in the proposed Skills for Logistics Academies.  The two bodies also plan to attend events together so that they can explain to potential candidates the services offered by both organisations.
