Commentators are reporting a high level of activity in the mergers and aquisitions market for freight forwarding; the larger logistics and freight operators think that they may get a bargain in taking over medium-sized companies which are having trouble servicing their debts.  But it appears that, although there is a lot of activity, not many deals are actually being closed as potential buyers and sellers are having trouble meeting each other’s expectations.
