Shenzen Airlines is looking at plans to convert some of their passenger planes to freighters.  At the moment, all freight is carried in the hold of passenger aircraft, but the load factor has reached 75%, which means dedicated freighters may be a viable option.  Chinese carriers are hoping that the lifting of restrictions on direct services between China and Taiwan will offer new opportunities for traffic between the two countries; commentators in China say that the country is not actually in recession, but experiencing an economic slowdown.
