High cube freight traffic coming through Teesport will soon be able to travel to central Scotland by train. The new high cube capacity container train is designed to drastically reduce customers’ costs, in comparison with travelling by road. The daily railfreight service will connect Teesport to Mossend and Grangemouth in central Scotland; it has been inaugerated in response to demand from British industry.
