Volumes of road freight in Europe ended the year at a higher level than expected. according to Danske Bank’s Freight Forwarding Index.  Freight Forwarders told the bank’s researchers that December turned out to be better than the earlier part of Quarter 4;air freight continued to decline, and sea freight was broadly unchanged, while road freight grew slightly.
