Freight forwarders in NIgeria under the umbrella of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) have complained about the refund process of Maersk Line’s container deposit.
They say the account statements for the container deposit refund by Maersk Line don’t reflect the bill of lading number as the narrative, which makes it difficult for freight forwarders to know which container deposit refund was paid for.
This was contained in a letter addressed to the shipping line.
