Vietnam’s fruit and vegetable export turnover hit over 1.8 billion U.S. dollars in the first four months of 2024, up 32.9 percent from the same period last year, Vietnam News Agency reported, citing the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
China, South Korea, the United States and Thailand were Vietnam’s biggest customer for fruit and vegetable imports during this period.
In April alone, the exports are estimated to reach about 539.8 million dollars, an increase of nearly 14.9 percent over the previous month, and 37.8 percent from a year earlier, said the report.
