Exports from Ireland in 2023 were supported by strong export sales of beef to the UK.
Irish food, drink and horticulture exports reached a value of £14.1 bn in 2023, while sales to the UK accounted for 34% of food and drink exports from Ireland. The greatest success was with beef with a 10% increase in expoorts. The UK now accounts for 47% of Irish beef exports, which is an increase from 44% in 2022.
