In January to June 2022 the U.S. exports of hardwood timber expanded 12% year-on-year to. The value of exports jumped 21% .

In June, the average price for hardwood timber exports edged down 0.9% compared to the previous month.

In July 2022 Brazilian exports of wood-based products (except pulp and paper) fell by 7.5% in value compared with the previous year.
