Russia is now in the world top 10 of chocolate exporters for the first time. Russia now exports more chocolate than Switzerland.
Russia exported $839 million worth of chocolate up to September 2021,compared with Switzerland’s $819 million.
The country had to export almost three times as much chocolate in volume to overtake Switzerland, as prices are much higher prices for Swiss-produced chocolate.
