Exports of mangoes from Kenya to Pakistan have been delayed because Kenya is being slow to approve a memorandum of understanding (MoU) already agreed upon by the two countries.
The Pakistan High Commissioner to Kenya said her country is ready to aimport Kenya’s mangoes throughout the year. Keynian farmers have been struggling with overseas markets on account of restrictions.
As Pakistan only produces the fruits for three months in a year hence creating high demand for mango imports in the off-season.
