Australia exported 45 per cent less wine to mainland China in the financial year ending in June. Exports to other markets increased by 12 per cent
Britain bought 23 per cent more Australian wine imports, largely due to Covid-19 restrctions and exporters rushing export shipments before Brexit took effect.

Australia’s higher wine exports to new and existing markets did not offset the 45 per cent decline in exports to mainland China, Wine Australia’s latest export report shows.
