Winemakers in New Zealand are benefitting as consumers in the northern hemisphere stay at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the latest quarterly wine report, global demand for New Zealand wine continues to increase despite the pandemic and geopolitical tensions and rising tariffs hitting wine exports in most key exporting regions.
Up to August 2020, the volume of New Zealand wine exports rose by 10.7 per cent and the value by 9.7 per cent in comparison to the same period last year.
