Kenya has recently been focusing mainly on agricultural exports, following up with the Integrated National Export Development and Promotion Strategy of July 2018.
Kenya continues to work on reducing its trade deficits with China. The intention is to reduce the gap between how much China exports to Kenya versus the opposite, thereby strengthening the economy.
